Games and Tools

I build audio games and tools that blind and visually impaired people can use as easily as anyone else. Every game can be played entirely by ear, and every one is tested with the NVDA screen reader.

Race Master

Race Master is an audio racing game for blind and low vision players. Every menu and every moment of the race is spoken, so you always know where you are, what is around you and what is happening on the track.

You can race on your own against computer-controlled cars, race other people over the internet, or race friends on the same Wi-Fi network without an internet connection. Racing earns coins, which you spend on cars, spare parts and fuel along a ten-kilometre shop road that you drive and walk just as you race. The game keeps your level, progress and best results, and it has worldwide leaderboards and tournaments.

Running the game for the first time

Because Race Master is new, Windows may show a message saying "Windows protected your PC". If you downloaded the game from this page, choose More info, then Run anyway.

To confirm that your copy is the original, you can compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one below. In PowerShell, the command Get-FileHash followed by the file name shows the checksum of your copy.

SHA-256 checksum: 41c16addf649e512348be9486fe69a324423869df3e7abef4f91ca670bbed9cd

If you enjoy the game, you can help keep its server running through Support accessible gaming.
